We got pounded with over 32 inches of snow and drifts as high as 4 feet around our home! The snow fell fast and furiously and the winds were wicked (as they say here in New England). We are very grateful to still have our power - we lost it for about 2 minutes on Friday night which was just long enough to find the flashlights and get them all turned on and then... voila... It came back on! Praise the Lord!
The kids and Tim tried to dig us out this morning, but it was a futile attempt. It's so cold and there is so much snow! The plows haven't made it down our street yet (it's now Saturday evening), and we hear that it could be up to 3 days before everything is sort of back to normal...however, we are expecting another storm on Monday.

Looking into our back yard from our deck...that's a chair peeking
through the mound of snow on our deck.
We opened our basement door to this snow drift.
